Video to DVD Transfer
|
Photoplay Productions can now transfer your videos to DVD
easier than ever before! Transferring your videos to DVD not only makes
viewing them easier, but it also preserves your videos for years to come.
Why should I transfer my videos to DVD?
|
What video formats can we convert?
|
|
For starters, it's a lot easier to watch a DVD. No rewinding, no fast
forwarding. You are allowed to simply skip to whatever part of the video you
choose to watch. DVD's can also be watched on any DVD player, computer,
laptop, and some video game consoles. Secondly, DVD's have very minimal
deterioration over the years. VHS tapes deteriorate very quickly, and only
have a shelf life of approximately two years. This means that as your VHS
tape gets older, the video and audio will get worse and worse. This leads to
black spots, tracking problems, and eventually an unviewable video.
Transferring your videos to DVD solves all these problems.
|
We can convert any consumer video formats, including: VHS, VHS-C, SVHS, SVHS-C,
Video8, 8mm (tape), Hi8, Digital8, miniDV, and DVCAM. Photoplay can also
transfer video straight from a Hard Disk Drive Camcorder. All you need to do
is bring in your tapes, and leave the rest to us. If for some reason we
don't have a player available, we'll just ask you to bring in your camera
and we will transfer it directly from your camera to DVD. Unfortunately, due
to the complexity required to convert film, Photoplay Productions cannot
transfer film reels to DVD. |
|
How much does this cost?
Due to new technology, Photoplay Productions is able to offer this
service at a very competitive price.
We charge simply $10 for every hour of raw
footage.
Can you edit my movies and add menus?
Yes, but in doing so, your videos must be digitized and captured onto a
computer. This is a time consuming and complicated process, and therefore is
more expensive. A pricing chart is included below. Please contact
Photoplay Productions for more information if you plan on having any editing
